During his thirty years of experience in water resources, his publishing credits include Fundamentals of Hydraulic Engineering Systems, Third Edition (with Ned H. C. Hwang) and the Federal Highway Administration’s Hydraulic Design of Highway Culverts, Second Edition (HDS 5) (with Jerome M. Normann and William J. Johnston). For more than fifteen years, he has taught the EPA-SWMM model and the Corps of Engineers’ HEC-HMS model in continuing education classes for ASCE.

The uncle’s coup topples Yarvi from the throne, but Yarvi escapes with his life. Yarvi’s escape leads, however, only to enslavement by people from neighboring Vansterland. Out from this situation emerges a long and arduous quest as Yarvi swears to avenge his father’s and brother’s deaths and dislodge his uncle from the throne. About the Author
Born in Connecticut in 1792, Finney was nearly thirty years of age before he turned from his skepticism regarding Christianity and wholeheartedly embraced the Bible as the true Word of God. He gave up his law profession in order to spread the Gospel and soon became the most noteworthy revivalist of the nineteenth century Second Great Awakening. In 1835, upon the request of Arthur Tappan, Finney established the theology department at Oberlin Collegiate Institute (today known as Oberlin College). He served there as a professor of theology as well as pastor of Oberlin's First Congregational Church until a few years before his death. In August of 1875, Finney died in Oberlin following a heart ailment.
